high-rise buildings in big cities
     modernization and urbanization bring both benefits and problems. in order to solve the problem of housing, high-rise buildings have been and are being put up in ever greater numbers in more and more big cities.
     high-rise buildings have their advantages and disadvantages, of course. in urban areas where land is expensive, they take up less space. some people say that high-rise buildings can give a city striking beauty.  some buildings are apartments, which can house hundreds of families under one roof.on the other hand, high-rise buildings may be dangerous.what if there is a fire or an earthquake? what if power and water are in short supply? in addition, high-rise buildings/blocks may not be suitable for children and old people.
      to conclude,  it goes without saying that high-rise buildings are necessary, but their number should be limited.at the same time, effective measures must be taken to solve such problems as the supply of water and power.
